Meet the Chiropractor

Dr. Amir Mahmud is a Sports Chiropractor and Functional Medicine Practitioner based out of Westlake Village and serves Westlake Village, Calabasas, Newbury Park, Oak Park, Thousand Oaks, Agoura Hills, Lake Sherwood, Moorpark, Malibu, and the surrounding communities in southern CA .

Dr. Amir Mahmud graduated from Cleveland Chiropractic College – Los Angeles in August 2008. While in Chiropractic school, he participated in multiple clinical trials for the treatment and rehabilitation of patients with hip Osteoarthritis. He was also involved in a multi-disciplinary clinic in Venice, California working with M.D.’s, acupuncturist, and social workers in treating patients with chronic pain. He was the recipient of the Clinic Excellence award in his graduating class.

Dr. Amir is a CCSP® (Certified Chiropractic Sports Practitioner®) and is currently working on getting his DACBSP® (Diplomate American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians®). He has worked with a variety of athletes ranging from cyclists and triathletes, to surfers and football players. He is currently the team doctor for the Ventura County Rugby Club.

Dr. Amir has advanced chiropractic training and specializes in: chiropractic sports medicine, sports injuries, and family practice.
